DPR and Government Speed Up the Draft Law on Disaster
Being a country with a high level of vulnerability to natural disasters has made the Government of Indonesia aware of the importance of regulations governing Disaster Management. In addition to handling various types of disasters in Indonesia properly, it is also to accommodate and coordinate all matters related to disaster management.
Therefore, the Government and DPR RI are currently pursuing the completion of the Draft Law on Disaster Management so that it can be immediately implemented in the disaster management process that occurs in Indonesia.
