JAKARTA (July 19, 2022) - Handayani Center Jakarta received a visit from DWP (Dharma Wanita Persatuan) of the Directorate General of Protocol and Consular Affairs (Protkons) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with GENG (Free Rice Display Window Movement) in the context of the Protkons Sharing activity - Sharing is Caring on Tuesday (19/07/2022).

 

Located at Bambu Apus Creation ATENSI Center (SKA) Cafe, DWP Protkons of MoFA chaired by Ismi R. Rachmianto with GENG and in collaboration with BJB who encouraged 30 children of Beneficiaries (PM) who received residential services in the Center.

 

The event began with remarks from the chairman of DWP Protkons of MoFA Ismi R. Rachmianto. In his remarks, Ismi stated that many activities had been carried out by MoFA and GENG Protkons DWP, including during this pandemic, there was already 15,000 packaged rice that had been distributed to residents affected by Covid-19.

 

"Hopefully all of you can accept what you've done, you all have hope and a very bright future," she said.

 

"I'm so touched to see all that is there, I know it's not easy to deal with service to children, I hope that the employees can do their best for children," she concluded again.

 

The Head of Handayani Center Jakarta, Romal Sinaga, welcomed the planned visit from MoFA Protkons DWP to the implementation of Sharing is Caring today. Romal stated that this activity encourages children's creativity at Handayani Center Jakarta, especially in welcoming National Children's Day (HAN) in 2022.

 

Meanwhile, representing Handayani Center Jakarta, Puti Chairida Anwar as Social Worker in her speech expressed her extraordinary appreciation for the visit of MoFA Protkons DWP.

 

"We and the children are very happy because the visit is part of a series of HAN activities where we can provide fulfillment of needs and give happiness to children," Puti said.

 

"This is our task at MoSA in serving children. Hopefully, the future of the children can be better," she said while closing her remarks.

 

In the series of events, the beneficiaries presented dances, songs, and poems that were created by "M" which were greeted with great joy and emotion from all members of the DWP Protkons. DWP Protkons also invites the beneficiary children to play games such as "Say the opposite" and connect words.

At the end of the event, Ismi read a poem to the children that touched their hearts and provided motivation so that they continue to be enthusiastic about reaching the future and don't forget to give gifts to all beneficiaries who were present by continuing to carry the spirit of GENG - Sharing Happiness with Others, not just words.
