SURABAYA (December 1, 2024) - In order to commemorate the 2024 International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Advisor to the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (Women's Organization for Civil Servant's Wives) of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Fatma Saifullah Yusuf, made a working visit to Surabaya to provide support to people with disabilities and children with special needs, Sunday (1/12/2024).

The assistance provided was in the form of Social Rehabilitation Assistance (Atensi), namely adaptive wheelchairs, prosthetic legs, hearing aids, AFO shoes, as well as mass circumcision and nutrition packages for 140 children in Greater Surabaya and Greater Solo. The assistance worth IDR 192,060,000 involved various parties, such as the Social Service, the Sahabat Gempita Foundation, and the Mercure Surabaya Grand Mirama Hotel.

Fatma hopes that this activity can provide basic rights that are safe and healthy for children with disabilities, and be an example of positive collaboration in supporting them.
