Early Detection of the Spread of COVID-19, "Margo Laras" Center Conducts Antigen Tests Again
PATI (July 19, 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs, through the Margo Laras Center in Pati, is carrying out another rapid antigen test for all employees and beneficiaries of the Center following up on the Service Note of the Secretary of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation following the direction of the Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini. It was an early detection and prevention effort for the COVID-19 virus spreading in the Center environment.
The rapid antigen test was carried out in the Margo Laras Center and attended by 150 people in the Margo Laras Center area consisting of 32 State Civil Apparatus (PNS), 23 Non-State Civil Apparatus Government Employees (PPNPN), and 95 Beneficiaries.
One PNS who is still on leave for the recovery stage after self-isolation, two PNS who are carrying out study assignments, and one PPNPN who is still undergoing self-isolation were not attending today's rapid antigen test because of the positive COVID-19 results of the antigen swab test on July 16, 2021.
"From the PPNPN positive results, tracing has been carried out on seven people with contact history, consisting of one PPNPN person and six beneficiaries. The results are all negative for COVID-19," explained the Head of the Administrative Subdivision of Margo Laras Center, Syam Fathurrachmanda.
In collaboration with the Sehati Pati Clinic, this rapid antigen test continues to implement health protocols. "We support the Margo Laras Center program that regularly carries out antigen swab activities for early detection of COVID-19. If someone is confirmed positive, the most important thing is to carry out self-isolation for ten days and take multivitamins. "Currently, the most dangerous variant is the delta variant, so we need to be alert and comply with health protocols," explained Sehati Clinic officer Dr. Indigo.
Meanwhile, based on the results of the antigen swab test, 3 ASNs were confirmed positive for COVID-19 with mild symptoms, sore throat, cough, and body aches, and they will undergo independent isolation at their official residence or home by strictly implementing health protocols.
"One PPNPN person who was confirmed positive for COVID-19 with mild flu symptoms was placed in self-isolation for the next ten days at the Center's guest house, while all 101 beneficiaries were declared negative," added Syam Fathurrachmanda.
Head of Margo Laras Center, Jiwaningsih expressed her gratitude because all beneficiaries were negative for the COVID-19 test. Meanwhile, the employees who are undergoing self-isolation will hopefully recover soon.
"Antigen swab activities are carried out periodically as a follow-up to the direction of the Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini, and as a preventive effort to detect and break the chain of spread of the Covid-19 virus in the Balai Margo Laras Pati environment," explained Jiwaningsih.
The Central Java Government informed that with the implementation of emergency Public Activity Restrictions (PPKM) since July 3, 2021, there was a decrease in the Case Fatality Rate (CFR) death rate and an increase in the Recovery Rate or recovery rate. Hopefully, Pati Regency will also experience a decrease in the positive number of COVID-19 and the death rate due to COVID-19,
