Emergency Response to Covid-19, "Wyata Guna" Social Rehabilitation Center Establishes a Public Kitchen Post

- The Ministry of Social Affairs through Wyata Guna Bandung Center responded
quickly to the direction and instruction of the Minister of Social Affairs Tri
Rismaharini to establish a Public Kitchen Command Post in the Wyata Guna Social
Rehabilitation Center to supply healthy food for health workers. As the surge
in Covid-19 cases in the city of Bandung continues to increase, so that health
workers who are at the forefront of handling Covid-19 patients need support
from all levels of society.
The head of the Wyata Guna Center, Sudarsono,
instructed his staff to form a Field Team whose task was to assist the smooth
operation of public kitchen activities.
On the first day, the public kitchen team consisting
of the Bandung City Disaster Preparedness Cadets (Tagana), Bandung Regency
Tagana and West Bandung Regency Tagana prepared food in the form of boiled
eggs, which were then distributed to Bandung City Hospital for 503 medical
personnel and for 480 medical personnel at Bhayangkara Sartika Asih General
Hospital.
