Empowering Local Residents, Abiyoso Cimahi Holds Ramadan Bazaar
CIMAHI (March 21, 2024) – The Ramadan Bazaar was held for 6 days starting March 21-28, 2024 by the Ministry of Social Affairs through the Abiyoso Center in Cimahi, West Java.
The enlivening activities in the Holy Month of Ramadan were attended by the Head of RT 03, Leuwigajah Sub-district, Cimahi, 16 tenants from Social Welfare Service for Persons in Need (PPKS) and Beneficiaries of the Family Hope Program (PKH) at the Abiyoso Center office.
The Ramadan Bazaar sells various kinds of food and drinks as well as goods such as clothes, bags, and necessities which are expected to be able to empower the PPKS' economy.
"This activity follows up on the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs to further empower residents around the Center through the Ramadan bazaar," said Plt. Head of the Abiyoso Center, Rinto Indratmoko.
Apart from that, an event was held entitled "Watch together" with the children of the Orphanage and KPM PKH.
The genres of films screened include cartoon films, religious films, science films, and other films.
Live Music entertainment is also available as a promotional event for various products from PPKS, as well as to introduce people around the Abiyoso Center and in the Cimahi area in general.
