Ensure Disaster Preparedness, Social Minister Reviews Social Granaries in Tulungagung and Trenggalek

Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini reviewed the availability of goods and the readiness of facilities in social granaries, namely in Tulungagung Regency and Trenggalek Regency, Saturday (25/12).

The preparation of social granaries is the concern of the Minister of Social Affairs, especially for disaster-prone areas in the southern region of Java. This refers to the modeling of the earthquake and tsunami in the area which is being studied by the BMKG.

The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs has prepared social granaries to ensure that disaster-affected communities have their basic needs met. In the social granaries prepared not only food. But there are also generators, water purifiers, fuel, tents, blankets, mats, besides of course there is ready-to-eat food and children's food.
