MANADO (October 8th, 2019) - Enthusiasm of "Tumou Tou" Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Blind Sensory Disabilities (BRSPDSN) PD Joining Sports Recreation
"Tumou Tou" Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Blind Sensory Disabilities (BRSPDSN) Manado organizes recreational sports for service recipients. This recreational sports activity was held in the Mega Mas area Manado on Tuesday (8/10).
The activity begins with breathing exercises and stretching. Furthermore, people with blind sensory disabilities are invited to utilize the sports facilities there.
Aflits Ams Peter Lope as the facilitator of physical training and skill BRSPDSN "Tumou Tou" Manado said that breathing and stretching exercises are needed to maximize the body's metabolism.
"This activity is a form of physical therapy for people with blind sensory disabilities. We do a combination of various forms of physical therapy so that the blind PD can be more enthusiastic in participating in the further rehabilitation program," he added.
The Head of "Tumou Tou" BRSPDSN Manado, Kamsiaty Rotty stated that at present he always trying to innovate in providing services to recipients. One of the example is this time Physical Therapy combined with recreational sports.
"BRSPDSN" Tumou Tou "Manado, always tries to innovate in carrying out further rehabilitation for people with blind sensory disabilities. So it is expected that the social capabilities and responsibility of Blind PD can develop when they return to the community," Kamsiaty said.
