Erosaman is Getting More Comfortable
Erosaman (July 31,
2022) - The National Children's Day 2022 series was held by the Ministry of
Social Affairs, not only in East Lombok which was lined up as the location for
the highlight of the event but also at several points including the location
of remote indigenous communities.
Erosaman, Papua was
one of the locations for the 2022 HAN series. This was because the Minister of
Social Affairs wants all children, including no exception, to have the same
rights, the right to be protected, to be free, to be creative, to have activities, and be happy.
Arman and Salfina
are very happy now that their village is bright and there is internet also.
Arman and Salfina are only two of dozens of children in their village who have
benefited from the assistance provided by MoSA.
Erosaman was one of
three villages in Asmat Regency, Papua that received assistance from a social
center complete with other supporting facilities such as solar panel lighting,
clean water, books, and other learning facilities as well as the internet.
Managed and cared for by the village head, this social center is used by the
children to play and learn daily.
Their joy increased
because on the commemoration of National Children's Day (HAN) in 2022, Erosaman
village became one of the places where the HAN commemoration was held in Asmat
Regency. During the week they participate in various series of activities
starting from morning exercise, learning to bathe and brush teeth, learning
to read and count, coloring, watching TV together, eating together, playing
ball, and playing other traditional games.
Accompanied by
their school teacher, the children enthusiastically participated in health
education on how to wash their hands properly, take a clean bath with soap,
always maintain a clean and healthy lifestyle and eat nutritious food.
Children in
Erosaman village at this year's HAN commemoration activity also received
assistance with school uniform packages, books, nutritious food and drink
packages, traditional game equipment as well as clothing and toiletries
packages that they can use every day.
The joy of the children became their capital to keep the spirit of studying and achieving their goals. Because the future of Papua and Indonesia rests on their shoulders. Because Papua is us.
