Children of Erosaman Enthusiastically Celebrate HAN 2022

EROSAMAN (July 31, 2022) - July 23 is celebrated every year as National Children's Day (HAN).
This year's National Children's Day carries the theme "Protected Children, Advanced Indonesia".
The theme carried out by the Ministry of Social Affairs is a form of effort to protect and encourage all Indonesian children to become great children.
The series of National Children's Day activities will be held starting on July 24 and the peak event will be on August 1, 2022, in East Lombok.
In addition, HAN activities were also celebrated at 11 locations throughout Indonesia, one of which was in Erosaman Village, Derkomor District, Asmat Regency, South Papua Province.
The HAN activity in Erosaman was organized by the Directorate for Empowerment of Vulnerable Groups, Directorate of Children, Gau Mabaji Center and fully supported by the Asmat District Social Office.
During this time, various games were held with the Erosaman children, soccer, long dragon game, marbles game, volleyball, group gymnastics, and coloring competitions.
The enthusiasm of the village children to participate in activities was felt, participating in games that created togetherness and warmth that was not found in millennial children's technology games.
Not only that, examinations and health education were also carried out for children.
The Head of the Health Team of the Kamur Health Center, Dr. Siska, provided counseling on clean and healthy living behavior, handling in case of diarrhea, and good and balanced nutrition for health.
In addition, children who have not been registered in the population records are also recorded to be reported to Dukcapill to help fulfill children's civil rights needs.
A total of 253 aid packages were handed over from the Ministry of Social Affairs through the Gau Mabaji Gowa Center for children in Erosaman.
It is consisting of 100 packages of school supplies, 211 boxes of personal hygiene kits, and additional nutrition, as well as 42 packages of assistance for toddler equipment.
The head of the Gau Mabaji Center, Subhan Kadir, advised the Erosaman children to be eager to learn and be confident.

Selfina (10 years old), one of Erosaman's children, expressed her joy.
"We are very happy that the brothers from the Ministry of Social Affairs came here, we play together every day and now we have shoes and uniforms for school," he said with a smile.
The Head of the Asmat Regency Office, Amir Makhmud hopes that this assistance can make children more enthusiastic about achieving their goals so that they can become the forerunners of the future leaders of Asmat Regency.
"Hopefully the children will study harder to achieve their goals," he concluded.
