Fishing Mania with Pangudi Luhur Integrated Center

BEKASI (August 27, 2022) - Still in commemoration of the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, Pangudi Luhur Integrated Center Bekasi, held a Fishing Mania competition there.

The Fishing Mania event was opened by the Secretary of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation Salahuddin, with a symbolic dropping of fish into the pond. Also attended by Suratna as the Head of the Organization and HR Bureau and Bambang Giantara as the Head of the Administrative Section for Pangudi Luhur Integrated Center.

Participants registered in this fishing competition were approximately 150 people from the surrounding community and several other participating Centers such as the Inten Soeweno Cibinong Integrated Center, Handayani Center, Mulya Jaya Center, and the Head Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs.

The facilities provided during this fishing competition are lunch from SKA (ATENSI Creation Center), fishing rods obtained during the competition, and the winner will receive a prize of 1 LED TV unit.

Salahuddin said that "this fishing activity is not only to find out who the champion is but in it there is a moral message that we want to encourage together, namely that fishing trains us to concentrate, to focus on completing a task, the second is the way to practice patience," said Salahuddin.

Not just fishing activities, but also many door prizes will be given to all participants who will be drawn at random.

Many partners provide support in this event such as BRI, and PT. POS, Wuling Community, SUN Kara, and PT. Andini Cipta Persada

Several partners support were given in the form of the main prize for the winners of the competition, where the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd winners will get LED TV and also door prizes such as umbrellas, wall clocks, tumblers, water kettles, gas stoves, electric kettles and many more.

"This event was held because MoSA together with Pangudi Luhur Integrated Center want to strengthen friendship, as a moral responsibility for the existence of an orphanage or hall within the Center, so of course one of the goals is to introduce it, so there should not be a Center that lives amid people who do not recognize the community,” concluded Salahuddin.

The winner of the competition will be determined based on who gets the most fish. However, if the number of fish is the same total, so then the fish will be weighed and it will determine the winner in this fishing mania competition.
