BATURRADEN (April 11, 2021) - The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs through the Satria Residential Center in Baturraden received a working visit from Commission VIII DPR RI. In line with the main tasks and functions of Commission VIII DPR RI, one of which is in the social field, the group that attended saw the services carried out by the Satria Center.

The group of seven people, namely Ramdoni, I Komang Khoeri, Wastam, Muhamad Saleh, Endang Maria Astuti, and Nurhuda, and led by Deputy Chair of Commission VIII, Diah Pitaloka. Also present at this activity was the Director of Individual, Family, and Community Institutional Social Empowerment (PSPKKM), a team from the Directorate of Social Rehabilitation for Drug Abuse Victims (RSKPN Directorate), Public Relations Bureau of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, a team from the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, Head of the Social Service Banyumas Regency, and Karangtaruna Banyumas Regency.

The activity began with a tour of the hall accompanied by the Head of Satria Residential Center in Baturraden, Hendra Permana, to see facilities and infrastructure such as vocational screen printing and graphic design centers, barbershops, places to make batik, and booths to display the work of beneficiaries (PM).

Diah Pitaloka expressed her appreciation for what was done by the Satria Residential Center in
Baturraden. "The products produced are not only goods but also creativity, extraordinary. Many efforts have been made by friends at the Center and this can develop like businesses in other areas and become the hallmark of Banyumas," said Diah.

The Head of the Satria Residential Center in Baturraden, Hendra Permana expressed his gratitude for the working visit that had been carried out. "It's not enough for victims of drug abuse to just undergo rehabilitation but also to be empowered so they don't return to the drug abuse community. This is in accordance with the direction of the Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs to provide complete service to beneficiaries," said Hendra.

Furthermore, the Social Rehabilitation Assistance was handed over in the amount of IDR15,000,000 for screen printing and frozen food businesses, prayer equipment packages consisting of 50 caps each, sarongs, prayer rugs, five mukenas, and 252 hand sanitizers to PM. In addition, assistance was also handed over from the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in the form of 50 stationery items, 99 packs of notebooks, 250 children's masks, 25 bottles of vitamins, and 20 juz amma.

On this occasion, an audience was also held with Karangtaruna Banyumas Regency and the PM conveyed his impressions and hopes for this visit.

"Thank you to all of you for the assistance that has been given. I also thank the Center for the coaching that has been done for me. The hope is that I can become a better person," said "LH".

At the end of the meeting which took place in the Satria Residential Center in Baturraden, Diah Pitaloka gave motivation to the PM. "This is a new hope for all my friends and a comfortable place for people who are independent in terms of creativity. And this is an inspiration so that friends out there who have the same problems can be helped," Diah concluded.
