Fulfilling Her Promises, Social Affairs Minister Risma Immediately Organizes Free Cataract Surgery Social Service in Parigi

The Ministry of Social Affairs along with the Regional Government of Parigi Moutong Regency and the Association of Indonesian Ophthalmologists (PERDAMI) and the Bersatu Teguh Association held a Free Cataract Surgery Social Service at Anuntaloko Parigi Hospital, Central Sulawesi (10/3).

The Free Cataract Operation activity is a realization of the promise of the Minister of Social Affairs Risma who previously visited and saw the large number of residents suffering from Cataracts in Sausu Village, Parigi Muotong Regency, Central Sulawesi (5/3), so she promised to carry out Free Cataract Surgery Social Service. Now, data as of March 10, 2024, more than 230 patients have undergone surgery. Every Free Cataract Surgery patient also receives a basic food package.
