BOGOR (January 11, 2020) - Grace P. Batubara once again held a social service event in the midst of the impact of the flood disaster that is still being felt by some people. In addition to distribute aid, the wife of Social Minister Juliari P. Batubara also did not forget to arouse the enthusiasm of residents.


"Kids, think of me as your own mother. I heard earlier, there are schools that are still affected by floods so they can't be used for schools. Some are still being cleaned. Yes, hopefully everything will be back to normal soon. Keep the spirits up, "Grace said, in social service activities, at the Multipurpose Building in RW 21, Perum Villa Indah II, Desa Bojongkulur, Kecamatan Gunung Putri, Bogor Regency, West Java, Saturday (11/01/2020).


Grace said that she was present in the midst of residents of Perum Villa Indah II, because she heard that this area was one of the places that was quite badly affected by the disaster. She was moved to ease some of the burden on the citizens.


"We have come to be able to lighten the burden you are experiencing. The arrival and assistance that we carry, hopefully helps a little the needs of the residents here, " she said. Grace prayed again that all the residents could return to their activities, and the normal situation as before.


In this social service, Grace visited two locations. In addition to coordinating social service activities in RW 21 and RW 24, Perum Villa Indah II, Desa Bojongkulur. Grace came along with the accompanying officials in the Onward Indonesian Cabinet Era Solidarity Action Organization (OASE KIM).


Grace stated that this community service was in line with the directions of President Joko Widodo and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo, that the state must continue to be present anywhere in the midst of a community that was experiencing a disaster.


From the Ministry of Social Affairs, a total of Rp.133,615,000 was distributed to local residents. The details are 200 packages of fast food, 400 side dishes, 200 children's meals, 8,000 packs of instant noodles. Then 40 sheets of tent rolls, 100 pcs of family kits and kids ware, 50 sheets of blankets, and 40 packages of clothing.


On this occasion, OASE KIM distributed aid including: 300 sheets of blankets, 154 boxes of children's snacks, and 100 boxes of Bandulan Green Tea. Office stationery in the form of 120 pcs goody bag, 120 pcs crayons, 120 pcs picture books, 120 pcs backpacks, 120 pcs tumbler, and story books.


Then supplemental food for toddlers, 150 boxes of biscuits, 100 boxes of food for pregnant women, 500 school uniforms, 25 packages of basic necessities i.e, rice, soap noodles and detergents. Also, mineral water (1 liter unit) as many as 98 bottles, 98 pack cooking oil, and 30 sheets of mattress. They also distributed 4,550 boxes of ready meals.


On this occasion, the wives of the officials of the OASE KIM members symbolically handed over compensation to the 13 people of heirs of the victims from the Ministry of Social Affairs (@ Rp15,000,000), totaling Rp195,000,000.


Other assistance provided was cleaning equipment worth a total of Rp120. 000,000. So that the total assistance is Rp.444,615,000.
