HAN 2022, Ministry of Social Affairs Distributes ATENSI Aid in Sembalun

SEMBALUN (July 31, 2022) - A winding road with steep and sharp bends accompanies the journey to Sembalun District from Lombok Timur. Located at the foot of Mount Rinjani (3,726 masl) Sembalun District includes six villages, (Sembalun Bumbung Village, Sembalun Lawang Village, Sajang Village, Bilok Petung Village, Sembalun Village, and Sembalun Timba Gading Village) with cool air, an altitude of 800 mdpl-1,250 mdpl.

The Ministry of Social Affairs through the Pangudi Luhur Integrated Center Bekasi and the Jakarta Handayani Center also enlivened the 2022 National Children's Day series with social campaign activities, introducing children's traditional games by playing and having fun and distributing Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) assistance for children who have been assessed.

The Pangudi Luhur Integrated Center distributed 100 packages of ATENSI assistance for children in three villages, Sembalun Bumbung Village, Sembalun Lawang Village, and Sembalun Timba Gading Village, Sembalun District, East Lombok.

ATENSI assistance was distributed in three villages i.e school supplies packages (t-shirts, bags, notebooks, pens, rulers, pencil cases), personal hygiene needs (toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, towels), nutrition packages (milk, honey, biscuits), baby equipment package (diapers, telon oil, eucalyptus oil), 1 unit adaptive blanket and wheelchair.

I Ketut Supena, Head of the Pangudi Luhur Integrated Center Bekasi said that in every activity that we have started from July 28, we have also distributed ATENSI assistance for children, later the peak of National Children's Day 2022 will be held in the Lombok Timur Regent's Office yard, Nusa Tenggara Barat on August 1, 2022.

"A series of activities in the framework of Children's Day was followed with full of joy in Sembalun, aimed at meeting the needs of children so that children grow up healthy and protected," said I Ketut.

Wina, one of the children, is very happy to be able to play together and get the package of ATENSI support.

"Thank you, ma'am, I can play with my friends and this is a great bag I can use to go to school," said Wina excitedly.
