JAKARTA (March 9, 2020) - Handayani Children's Center Jakarta, which is a Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) belonging to the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, received a public service award from the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPANRB) at The Ritz Carlton Hotel, Jakarta. The award was given directly by the Minister of PANRB Tjahjo Kumolo to the Head of the Jakarta Handayani Children's Center, Hasrifah Musa.
Deputy for Public Services at the PANRB Ministry, Diah Natalisa, said that the evaluation process for the performance of public services was carried out to 56 Ministries/Institutions from July to November 2020. According to him, there were six aspects assessed, namely Service Policies, HR Professionalism, Infrastructure Facilities, Public Service Information Systems, Consultation and Complaints, and Innovation.
"Each aspect has a different assessment weight so as to produce a Public Service Index value for each evaluated K/L," she explained.
Meanwhile, Handayani Children's Center Jakarta succeeded in obtaining a Public Assessment Index with an A- or very good category. There are 25 other K/Ls that get A- points, and 6 K/Ls that get A-scores or excellent service.
Head of Handayani Children's Center Jakarta, Hasrifah Musa said this award is a form of appreciation for the performance and support of various parties in providing public services to beneficiaries, especially children who need special protection (AMPK).
"This award cannot be separated from the support and work of all parties, including the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini, the Director General of Social Rehabilitation Harry Hikmat, and the Director of Social Rehabilitation for Children Kanya Eka Santi who have always encouraged us to always be responsive in handling children's cases. Certainly, the employees are always ready to respond and serve children," he explained.
With this award, Hasrifah emphasized the hall's commitment to continue to be the best partner in providing social rehabilitation services for AMPK children quickly, easily, professionally, transparently, and paying attention to equal rights.

Finally, Hasrifah said that the his party would not be complacent with this achievement. He stressed that the office will continue to strive to improve the quality of services so that public optimism about the presence of the government will increase.
The event was also attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Social Affairs Hartono Laras and the Head of the Organization and Personnel Bureau Amin Raharjo.
