MAKASSAR (13 August 2020) - The Ministry of Law and Human Rights is one of the partners of the Social Rehabilitation Center for Children Needing Special Protection (BRSAMPK) "Toddopuli'' Makassar in handling children in conflict with the law. Therefore, the Head of BRSAMPK "Toddopuli" Makassar, Christiana Junus, was invited to be a resource person in the Correctional Technical Consultation activity organized by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the South Sulawesi Regional Office.
This activity was held in the Regional Office Hall of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of South Sulawesi and was attended by 28 participants from all regions of South Sulawesi.
In her material, Christiana explained that there are 3 (three) main components mandated by SPPA to the Ministry of Social Affairs, namely 1) HR (Professional Social Workers and Social Welfare Workers) 2) Actions, Referrals and Interventions and the third is about facilities and infrastructure
In further explanation, Christiana describes the implementation of the juvenile criminal justice system law through ATENSI (Social Rehabilitation Assistance) organized by BRSAMPK "Toddopuli" Makassar accompanied by supporting documents such as ATENSI business processes, photos of activities and ABH data handled from 2016 to August 2020 based on type the law faced by the child.
At the end of her presentation, Christiana invited all components to work in synergy in handling children by prioritizing the best interests of children.
