Health Services Present in the Series of National Children's Day (HAN) 2022
BERTAM (July 29, 2022) — The enthusiasm of the children of the 006 Belakang
Padang Elementary School lined up and the residents of the Bertam Island
community waited for their turn to be called by Belakang Padang District Health
Center (Puskesmas) officers to get health services.
You can see the cheerful faces of the children
lined up waiting in line to follow the directions of the teachers. While
waiting in line, HAN Integrated Center “Pangudi Luhur” Bekasi team participated
in the preparations while distributing soap and biscuit snacks prepared by the
sponsor.
A total of 6 Puskesmas Belakang Padang officers
assigned by Batam City Health Service led by dentist Nelly participated in
supporting HAN series by providing services for checking children's health and
giving medicines. In addition to health services, children are also given
dental health education by inviting one of the children to demonstrate how to
brush their teeth properly and correctly.
"Health services like this have been routinely
carried out every month on the islands of the District of Belakang Padang, one
of which is a resident of the Bertam Island sea tribe by providing health
services in the form of weighing children, measuring height, health checks,
immunizations, and counseling. Regarding a healthy lifestyle, we feel proud to
be involved in this year's series of HAN activities," said Doctor Nelly,
as she is usually called.
The health service activities were attended by 66
elementary school children and some residents of the Bertam Island community.
Located in the Health Center Building, it is still in the same location as the
006 Elementary School, Belakang Padang
Pulau Bertam.
Great Sea Tribe children, great Indonesian
children!
