Holding Cataract Surgery in Medan City, Minister of Social Affairs Appreciates the Medical Team

MEDAN (February 26th, 2024) – Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA) held Social Service of Free Cataract Surgery in the city of Medan, cooperating with Martha Friska Multatuli Hospital in December 2023.

Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of Bahagia Center in Medan gives Certificate of Appreciation from the Minister of Social Affairs symbolically to dr. Syaiful M Sitompul as the director of Martha Friska Multatuli Hospital and Bobby RS Sitepu represent the ophthalmologists.

Minister Tri Rismaharini sends her appreciation in the form of certificates of merit for the medical team consisting of ophthalmologists and nurses contributing to the social service event” the Head of Bahagia Center Iman Imaduddin Hamdan said in the hall of Martha Friska Multatuli Hospital on Monday (January 26th, 2024).

Ministry of Social Affairs also appreciates the hospital and dr. Bobby as a specialist doctor.  In the future, it is hoped that the surgery will be held more often and will reach more patients in need of medical attention.

Dr. Syaiful M. Sitompul expresses his gratitude for the collaboration with MoSA for the cataract surgery held two years in a row In Medan City.

“For the patients, it will be priceless. We may forget, but the patients will remember. It is an excellent policy. Thank you, Mr. Imam. Please convey our gratitude to Mrs. Minister,” Syaiful said.

On this occasion, the director of the hospital also appreciates Ministry of Social Affairs program which is carrying out the cataract surgery.

For the collaboration and synergy, dr. Syaiful M. Sitompul gives an appreciation plaque for Bahagia Center in Medan. The plaque is received directly by the Head of Bahagia Center in Medan.
