Implementing ATENSI, "Wyata Guna" Center Holds the Top of HDI 2020 Event
BANDUNG (December 3, 2020) – Bandung “Wyata Guna” Center which is a technical implementing unit under the auspices of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, held the culmination of the International Disability Day (HDI) 2020 event for Social Welfare Service Recipients (PPKS) by handing over prizes to the winners of various competitions, ranging from poetry reading competitions, singing competitions, and vlog competitions.
Rohmah Noviani, Chief Executive of the 2020 HDI Commemoration at the Bandung "Wyata Guna" Center, said that, "Through the 2020 International Day of Disability, we are increasing Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) in providing protection, fulfillment and appreciation in order to realize disability welfare".
Head of the Bandung "Wyata Guna" Center, Sudarsono, in his speech hoped that all PPKS at the "Wyata Guna" Center in Bandung, to make this HDI commemoration a moment to continue to work, be independent and achieve. In the future the “Wyata Guna” Center in Bandung, in carrying out the Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI), the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Social Affairs, will be more present by increasing the mastery of information technology such as Podcast Broadcasting so that people with disabilities can "work" and "exist".
Riftiyani, one of the winners of the vlog and poetry reading competitions, was happy because even though this was her first time, she immediately won two competitions. She felt proud of “Wyata Guna” Center in Bandung for the series of HDI commemoration events. Furthermore, Rifti, her nickname, hopes that the community will no longer see people with disabilities as weak, because it is proven that she can work.
