In Synergy with PT LAPI ITB, the Director General of PFM Discusses the Upstream Downstream Transaction System for KPM

BANDUNG (February 6, 2021) - Director General for Poverty Handling (Directorate General of PFM) Asep Sasa Purnama attended a meeting on the Supply Chain Financing System (SCFS) with PT LAPI ITB. This activity is a form of synergy between the Directorate General for PFM and PT LAPI ITB in building a strengthening transaction system from upstream to downstream for beneficiary families (KPM). The direction of the activity was delivered by the Director General of PFM, Asep Sasa Purnama and the Chairman of the Indonesian Market Management Association (Asparindo), Y. Joko Setiyanto and remarks were delivered by the President Director of PT LAPI ITB, Yusmar Anggadinata.

For information, PT LAPI ITB is a business entity whose majority shares are owned by ITB which is engaged in the business of consulting services, training and development of appropriate technology.

Furthermore, in the activities carried out at PT LAPI ITB, the scenario for the Consolidation of Distribution Center (CDC) and Upstream - Downstream Transactions was explained as well as an explanation of "Wangpas" and its role in the Supply Chain Financing System (SCFS). The system is being pursued so that it can be integrated with the PFM program. This is intended to make transactions carried out by Family Beneficiaries (KPM) in each region more transparent and accountable.

The Director General of PFM said that in the future efforts to improve the economy in the community can be carried out together through technology to improve welfare, especially for KPM. "One thing that can be developed to improve people's welfare is in the field of technology, which is currently growing rapidly," said the Director General of PFM.

The Director General of PFM also explained that this activity is one of the efforts in alleviating extreme poverty. "In line with the president's mandate, he mandates all of us so that we can work together, synergize, and overcome extreme poverty," explained the Director General of PFM.
