"Insyaf" Drug Abuse Victims Rehabilitation Center Does Monitoring Distribution of Basic Food and Cash Social Assistance
DELI SERDANG (29 May 2020) - The Medan "Insyaf" Center for Social Rehabilitation of Drug Abuse Victims (BRSKPN) monitored the distribution of Basic Food Assistance and Cash Social Assistance (BST) in Deli Serdang Regency, precisely in Kutalimbaru District.
The usual distribution of Aid at the post office this time was carried out in the Lau Bakeri Village Hall. The Head of the Medan "Insyaf" Center, Ahd Sulaiman, and the Head of the Social Assessment and Advocacy Section were directly involved in monitoring the distribution of this aid. Sulaiman hopes that the distribution officer will continue to maintain the health protocol for preventing COVID-19 by checking body temperature, washing hands and keeping a distance when waiting in line.
Benedicktus Hutauruk as the Supervisor from PT Pos of Pancur Batu Branch said, "For this location we will distribute 501 BST to residents in Lau Bakeri village, Sampai Cita village, Silebo lebo village, Sawit Rejo village and Sei Mencharim. I hope the registered residents BST recipients can work together so that today's distribution can be completed," he said.
In his speech, Sulaiman explained that BST from the Ministry of Social Affairs was intended for people affected by COVID-19. He also urged the assistance recipients use the funds that have been received to meet basic needs, not to spend on consumptive needs.
