JEPARA (15 June 2021) - Jepara Regency Government, represented by the Regional Secretary, Edy Sujatmiko and the Directorate General of Poverty Handling (PFM), represented by the Director of PFM Region II, I Wayan Wiryawan welcomed the arrival of a working visit of Member of Commission VIII DPR RI, Abdul Wachid at the Kartini Center, Jepara Regency (15/6).

The visit of a member of Commission VIII of the DPR RI, Abdul Wachid, was held in the form of a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activity with the theme "Distribution of Social Assistance for the Basic Food Program for PFM Region II in 2021".

The Secretary of the Regency of Jepara in submitting his report that the number of KPM for the Basic Food Program in Jepara Regency per May - June was 121,550 Beneficiary Families (KPM) distributed through the BTN Kudus Branch Office, while the number of Agents/e-Warong (Electronic Warung Gotong Royong) distribution of the Basic Food Program in the Regency Jepara with a total of 189 agents as of May 24, 2021. In addition, he stated that the data on recipients of the Social Rehabilitation of Uninhabitable Houses (RS-RTLH) in Jepara Regency in the verification and validation results were 14,580 with total handling from 2016 - 2020 of 9,680 units.

On a further occasion the Director of PFM Region II also conveyed about the number of RS-RTLH this year in Jepara Regency as many as 100 units divided into 10 groups and still in the process of verification and validation. “With a fund of around 15 million rupiahs, it is rehabilitation. So the priority is to repair the roof, floor, and walls," said I Wayan Wirawan. In addition, he also said that during the verification and validation process, the requirements for the recipients of the assistance would be conveyed. "Which of course must be registered in the DTKS (Integrated Data on Social Welfare)," said I Wayan Wirawan.

In the event, Abdul Wachid expressed his appreciation for the Minister of Social Affairs who has brought about change and really cares about Poverty Handling in Indonesia, especially after deactivating 21 million recipients who are indicated to be double. In addition, he also discussed e-Warong as a food distributor for the Basic Food Program. "Following the discussion by the Minister of Social Affairs, we will fix this e-Warong. So we are trying to make e-Warong produced by residents," said Abdul Wachid. Then he said Commission VIII of the House of Representatives would invite HIMBARA to discuss further the issues and problems of e-Warong.

Furthermore, Abdul Wachid said "Indeed, this is our homework in Commission VIII, so that Uninhabitable Houses can use a suitable budget". In the future, Commission VIII of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia will discuss further the budget for the RS-RTLH Assistance, because according to him, the rehabilitation of the house is indeed small with a fund of 15 million rupiahs. Then also he hopes that the budget used can be absorbed to the people who need it and its use is transparent.

On the occasion, representatives of the Central Java Provincial Social Service, Tegoch Hadi Noegroho, as well as several village heads, community leaders, and representatives of the Basic Food Program Beneficiary Families (KPM) in Jepara Regency were also present.
