CIMAHI (March 2, 2021) - Head of the "Abiyoso" Indonesian Braille Literacy Center (BLBI), Isep Sepriyan and the "Abiyoso" Outreach Team (TRC) traced the whereabouts of a person with a physical disability, a cracker seller who went viral on social media.

After being successfully contacted by "Abiyoso" TRC this afternoon, the disabled person named Kang Acep was also willing to come to accept an invitation from the Head of "Abiyoso" BLBI. Reluctant to be picked up, Kang Acep came personally to "Abiyoso" BLBI, which is the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Ministry of Social Affairs, with his unique motorbike.

Acep Yunus Imanudin, who is often called Asep, is a physically disabled person who sells crackers on a daily basis by riding his accessible modified motorbike.

Born in Tasikmalaya August 28, 1995 with physical limitations, Acep is a tough person and doesn't complain easily. Even today, he often becomes a spokesperson for his fellow disabled friends in conveying their various aspirations. Not only that, while selling, Kang Acep also carries out his mission in socializing Law Number 8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities.

Everyday, he sells around the cities of Bandung and Cimahi. The crackers he sells are made by his own mother, who currently lives in Tasikmalaya City. Apparently this merchandise is a favorite snack among buyers so it is always in demand.

His hobby of traveling around cities and even provinces makes him rich in experience and is known by many people. His arrival to "Abiyoso" BLBI today was warmly welcomed by Isep Sepriyan and his fellow employees. Unconsciously, the conversation that lasted from noon to evening with Kang Acep was so excellent.

Isep Sepriyan told Acep not to hesitate to come to "Abiyoso" BLBI and encourage other disabled friends to stop by. "BLBI "Abiyoso" is not only a Braille House but also a Home for all Persons with Disabilities," said Isep in the conversation earlier.''

Not only chitchat, BLBI "Abiyoso" also provided Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) to Kang Acep in the form of additional business capital of IDR 2 million. Isep said that the additional capital assistance was intended for Acep's family business, both for the stall business run by his wife and the cracker business run by Acep himself.

This afternoon, Isep also took the time to have a dialogue with Acep's biological mother who was in Tasikmalaya City. Kang Acep's mother expressed her gratitude for the help from "Abiyoso" BLBI  for her son.

Acep's mother told Isep over the phone that Acep was always passionate about work and always encourage him to go to the Holy Land of Mecca. The proceeds from the sale of crackers, which Acep always puts aside for savings, were able to send him and his mother for Umrah on March 23.

On the sidelines of the conversation this afternoon, Kang Acep conveyed the formula for his life journey. "I have a life formula: Live, Enjoy, and Be Grateful, that's the formula for my life," he said.

It turned out that Kang Acep also had high hopes of meeting the Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini. He said that if he had the opportunity to meet the Minister of Social Affairs, he would express all his aspirations, as well as the aspirations of all friends with disabilities in his community.

"My hope to the Ministry of Social Affairs, Mrs. Minister of Social Affairs, is to pay attention to people with disabilities, whether they are students, unemployed, especially the elderly, because my friends need a lot of help. However, we, people with disabilities are not weak and don't always hope for help. Just please help the ones who really need help," he said excitedly.

At the end of the conversation, Isep motivated Kang Acep. "Hopefully Kang Acep's business will continue to run smoothly and Kang Acep will always be an inspirational figure for other disabled people."
