PANGANDARAN (23 September 2020) - In order to improve preparedness and minimize casualties when a disaster occurs, including prevention of transmission of COVID-19 according to health protocols, Head of Sub-directorate (Kasubdit) Preparedness and Mitigation, Iyan Kusmadiana, accompanied by the Head of the Provincial Social Service (Kadinsos) West Java, Dodo Suhendar, Special Staff for the West Java Regional Secretary, Dede Sapul, and the Head of Social Affairs for Pangandaran Regency, Wawan Kustaman, activated the Disaster Alert Village (KSB) in Sidamulih District and Parigi District in Pangandaran Regency, West Java.

With the activation of 2 KSB in Pangandaran Regency out of 772 KSB in Indonesia, it is hoped that the community can be responsive to natural disasters and also respond to non-natural disasters, as well as be able to cope with disasters in accordance with health protocols.
