Landslide in Sukabumi, Minister of Social Affairs Risma: It Must be Anticipated So There are No More Victims
Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini inspected the location of floods and landslides in Caringin District, Sukabumi, Wednesday (16/11). Upon arrival at the Pasir Datar Indah Village Office, Caringin District, Sukabumi, Social Affairs Minister Risma immediately met four heirs of the five victims who died as a result of floods and landslides. As a form of condolence, the Social Affairs Minister handed over death benefits to the four.
Not only death benefits, the Minister of Social Affairs also provides intervention to the heirs through Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) i.e empowerment through business capital. "Here is a storefront aid, along with everything in it. You can use it for business capital," said the Minister of Social Affairs again to Dede.
Victims died due to floods in Cisaat District, landslides in Caringin District and Kadudampit District to receive compensation of IDR 15 million per victim. Meanwhile, logistical assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs was sent from the Bekasi Main Warehouse to the Sukabumi District Social Service, on Tuesday (15/11).
Logistical assistance consists of 1,000 packages of ready-to-eat food, 400 packages of children's food, 50 sheets of mattresses, 200 sheets of blankets, 50 packages of family kits, 50 packages of kidsware and red and white tents. On that occasion, the Minister of Social Affairs, who was present at the Pasir Datar Indah Village Office, was received by Deputy Regent of Sukabumi Iyos Somantri, also handed over assistance for handling floods and landslides in Sukabumi Regency in the amount of IDR 292,407,000.
