Landslide Prone, Ministry of Social Affairs Establishes Disaster Preparedness Village in Sumedang

Sumedang Regency with its hilly topography has the potential for natural disasters such as landslides, which must be watched out for. Certainly, the preparedness of the surrounding community needs to be prepared.

On February 18, 2022, the Ministry of Social Affairs established Disaster Preparedness Villages (KSB) in two sub-districts, namely Tanjungkerta District and Cimanggu District, Sumedang Regency.

The community is trained to be ready to face disaster threats and risks such as providing evacuation procedures, establishing shelters, first aid, preparing Social Barns, and so on.
