Launching of Social Assistance Distribution at "Mulya Jaya" Watunas Center

The Ministry of Social, through the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, is consistent and maintains its commitment to handling COVID-19, especially for vulnerable groups who are directly affected. Today, (22/5), Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Harry Hikmat accompanied by his staff officially opened the distribution of Basic Food Assistance at "Mulya Jaya" Center in Jakarta totaling 450 packages from the refocusing budget of Center.

This responded to the Minister of Social Affairs, Juliari P. Batubara, so that all the Technical Implementation Units of the Center/ Loka belonging to the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation use the budget for handling COVID-19 according to the classification of their respective centers. After officially opened, the Basic Food Assistance "Mulya Jaya" Center distribution team immediately went down to Resik Social Welfare Institute (LKS) and to the houses of the former beneficiaries.
