PRINGSEWU (June 6, 2022) - A total of 41 Elderly students, LKS Amanah Bunda Pringsewu, were invited to go for a walk to enjoy the feel of the Nature of the Beach and the Sea. This activity was carried out in commemoration of the 26th HLUN in 2022.

 

Commemoration of Elderly Day (HLUN) in 2022 this time has a different feel compared to previous years, where many activities directly touch the community, especially the elderly. Indonesia is an area that is very prone to disasters, so it has a great influence on the existence of the elderly, especially in areas that experience disasters such as conflicts, floods, landslides, volcanoes, tsunamis, earthquakes, and fires. affected by the situation. "On that basis, the state is present with stakeholders in handling the problems," said Kartinah, the Chair of the LKS at the delivery of activities.

 

Present directly on the occasion, Mr. Aswarodi, Head of the Lampung Province Social Office was accompanied by Mrs. Ratna Fitria, Head of Social Rehabilitation, and her staff. It was also seen that the ranks of the Pringsewu District Social Office and the Lampung Province LKKS Management were also having fun with the elderly by giving door prizes through some light questions.

 

"The presence of the State is marked by the issuance of Presidential Regulation Number 88 of 2021 on the National Strategy for Sustainability, in which the government pays special attention to the Elderly. The mandate of the Presidential Regulation is addressed to ministries/institutions to realize Prosperous, Independent, and Dignified elderly. Therefore, the government pays attention in the form of commemorating the National Elderly Day," said Aswarodi in his direction.
