Looking at the Attractiveness of the ATENSI Creation Center to be a Tourist Object

BEKASI (March 22, 2021) - In the midst of the crowded city of Bekasi, there is one place that has the potential to become an interesting tourist attraction. It's called the ATENSI Creation Center, which is located at the "Pangudi Luhur" Training Center, Bekasi.
At first glance it looks normal from the front gate. However, if you walk about 100 meters into it, an entrepreneurial center to a lake where fishing and recreation will be seen. Starting from culinary, knick knacks and handicrafts, screen printing and printing, salons, to reflexology are available at the ATENSI Creation Center.
Linda (20), a student of STIE Tribuana Bekasi who was visiting the ATENSI Creation Center during lunch hour, Wednesday (17/3), said she had stopped by three times to taste the food. "This time I ordered chicken penyet. It's quite tasty. The price is also affordable. I also ordered a new burger to try this," she said.
Not only tempted by the variety of food served, ATENSI Creation Center is also located on a strategic road in Bekasi City, precisely on Jalan H.M Joyo Martono, Margahayu, East Bekasi District. A protocol road that is close to the city center as well as toll road access.
"Incidentally, the location is still close to campus, usually when I come here for lunch. It's nice to have a cool atmosphere," said the second year student.
Its location, which is still lined with many trees and gardens around the Center, practically makes the location of the ATENSI Creation Center in the "Pangudi Luhur" Center Bekasi feel comfortable to visit, especially when the sun is hot.
More interestingly, the beautiful location is supported by a large enough lake that can be used as a place for fishing or as a place to sit and relax enjoying the afternoon breeze.
Certainly, the attraction doesn't stop there. The business owners at the ATENSI Creation Center are not the typical business owners. It turned out that they are former homeless people and beggars who were empowered at "Pangudi Luhur" Training Center Bekasi.

A Social Worker at "Pangudi Luhur" Training Center Bekasi named Taufik Syaeful Rahmat, explained that former homeless people and beggars participated in entrepreneurial and vocational training programs. Entrepreneurs such as hydroponic plantations, culinary businesses, handicrafts, laundry. Then vocational training such as graphic design skills, massage, and salon.
"Every day there are about 50 to 100 visitors. What we sell is a tourist atmosphere in the middle of the city. In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the crowded city, there are alternative places for people to relax and chat to unwind. Equipped with free wifi that can be accessed by anyone. The parking lot is quite spacious," said the Social Worker who is also the SKA Coordinator while sipping a cup of coffee.
In the midst of all its tourism potential, he continued, the Center will continue to improve what are the shortcomings, such as parking, marketing, and promotion of the ATENSI Creation Center to attract more visitors.
"This is the first time it has opened and we are still in progress. If SKA is developed, I am sure it will be crowded," concluded Taufik.
