DENPASAR (October 27, 2020) - The Ministry of Social Affairs' Technical Implementation Unit, the Social Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Visual Disabilities (BRSPDSN), Mahatmiya Bali, is collaborating with the Bali Provincial Health Office in efforts to prevent and control the COVID-19 outbreak. This collaboration is realized in the implementation of Swab-PCR tests with nosopharyngeal swab specimens for free.
The swab-PCR test was held at the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of the Bali Provincial Health Laboratory, Jl. Angsoka No.12, Dangin Puri Kangin, Kec. North Denpasar, Denpasar City and carried out in two stages.
The first stage was carried out on Saturday, October 24, 2020 for 26 employees, non-civil servant government employees and therapists. While the second test is taking place at the same place, involving 20 employees, PPNPN and therapists.
This Swab-PCR test effort is one of the important steps in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 outbreak, because this method provides more accurate results in detecting the presence of corona virus infection in the human body.
Based on the results of the first stage of the test, 26 people were declared negative. Based on information from officers, the results of the second stage of the test will be released within 2-3 days. It is hoped that the second stage of the test will reap the same results.
