MAJALENGKA (July, 2020) - Director General of Social Empowerment Edi Suharto socialized Social Entrepreneurship Program (ProKUS Triple Pow 17er) as well as coordinating the preparation of ProKUS Triple Power and preparation for the construction of the Social Welfare Centre (Puskesos) in Majalengka District.

The activity was carried out at the Social Service Office of Majalengka.

Before doing the presentation, Director General of Social Empowerment reminds the audience to always pay attention to the health protocol of COVID-19.

"Social Entrepreneurship Program is a typical Social Empowerment program called ProKUS Triple Power," said Edi.

Furthermore, Director General explained that there are 3 models of social entrepreneurship, such as:

1. Nursery Capital - BSiMU - social assistance and business guidance called Beginner Entrepreneurship (WP);

2. Mentoring Model - BSiMU, social assistance and business mentoring by entrepreneurs - Developing Entrepreneurs (WB);

3. Capital Incubation, BSIMU - social assistance and Business incubation by the Company - Advanced Entrepreneurs (WM).

The role of TKSK is very important in this program, TKSK also helps to collect the data on KPM PKH Graduasi prospective recipients ProKUS Triple Power.


In his remarks the Regional Secretary E. Suherman, besides saying welcome, he also expressed his gratitude for the presence of the Director General of Social Empowerment in Majalengka.

"Thank you for the presence of the Director General of Social Empowerment, hopefully his presence can advance the small business of the citizens and the welfare of the citizens of Majalengka," explained Suherman.

Ms. Yahnuroriah who becomes KPM PKH since 2011 until 2019 now she is a KPM PKH Gradutes. Her daily work is a seblak traders with income between Rp. 200,000 to Rp.250,000

"I hope that this social entrepreneurship program can improve my capital and also be able to sell other things," said Yahnuroriah.

Mrs. Ipoh is a porridge trader with income about Rp. 200,000 / day, hopes that she can get social entrepreneurship assistance soon and she grateful for the help from the Ministry of Social Affairs.

"By this additional assistance from Minister of Social Affairs, she can fulfil her daily needs and increase the capital and her business runs smoothly," said Ipoh.

Also present at the event Head of Sub Directorate of LPPK, Head of OHH, Head of PP of Directorate General of Social Empowerment, Kadinsos, Secretary of Social Affairs, Head of Social Empowerment of Social Affairs of Kab. Majalengka.

Other participants were TKSK from 26 sub-districts, PKH from 26 sub-districts, KPM PKH Graduasi 5 people, Social Workers 4 people, District Coordinator 3 people.
