Making Semeru Survivors Successful into Entrepreneurs

The Ministry of Social Affairs together with Disaster Preparedness Cadets (Tagana) provided various skills training to evacuees in Penanggal Field, Candipuro District, Lumajang Regency, East Java.

Tagana created Dapur Kreasi (Creation Kitchen) with the aim that the mothers in the evacuee camps could be creative in order to eliminate the feeling of boredom that might arise while the residents were living in the evacuee camps. In addition, through Dapur Kreasi, mothers are given various skills training that is useful for improving their economic conditions. Dapur Kreasi involves instructors from Tagana Probolinggo Regency, Probolinggo City Tagana and Kediri Regency Tagana.
