CIBINONG (April 16, 2021) - Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini, accompanied by Director General of Social Rehabilitation Harry Hikmat and Director of Social Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities Eva Rahmi Kasim visited the "Inten Suweno" Vocational Disability Center in Bogor.

During this visit, Social Affairs Minister Tri Rismaharini stressed the importance of following the developing trends. "Follow the current trends so you don't get left behind," said Risma.

The current trends, according to Risma, also need to be supported by the latest technology. For automotive practice equipment, Risma suggested buying the latest cars and motorbikes as materials for beneficiary practice. "If we have the latest technology, beneficiaries are immediately ready to work after completing the training," said Risma

Likewise in sewing skills, Risma asked that sergers, jeans-altering machines, and convection be provided. There is also a need for space to showcase the products of the beneficiaries.

Then the Center needs to make space efficient so that it can be used to add types of vocational training for beneficiaries and unused practice equipment can be grouped in museums.

The "Inten Suweno" Vocational Disability Center was appointed by the Minister of Social Affairs Risma to make 50 three-wheeled motorbikes that will be used as businesses for persons with disabilities. Currently, there are 2 models of three-wheeled motorbikes, namely the Warung Sayur Bit 100 model and the Aluminum Box.

10 beneficiaries have been trained to assemble and modify three-wheeled motorbikes. They are residential beneficiaries and alumni of the "Inten Suweno" Vocational Center for Disabilities.

Beneficiaries have also been trained by engineers from PT. Viar to assemble three-wheeled motorbikes so that the results can be adapted to the conditions of persons with disabilities who will use three-wheeled motorbikes.

Risma emphasized that the beneficiaries need to be trained in assembling and modifying the tricycle so that the results meet assembly qualifications.
