SUKABUMI (November 18, 2024) - Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf, who is familiarly called Gus Ipul, made a working visit to the Phalamarta Center in Sukabumi. During the event, Gus Ipul symbolically handed over assistance to 13 beneficiaries, including 8 elderly people and people with disabilities, and 5 students from SLB Handayani Cibadak, who are mentally disabled. The total assistance handed over reached IDR381,480,000.
On that occasion, Gus Ipul listened directly to the aspirations of the surrounding community, emphasizing the importance of the government's presence in helping to improve the quality of life of vulnerable groups. He also noted that community involvement is crucial in making existing social programs successful.
Gus Ipul hopes to encourage more community support through this initiative, especially for the elderly and children with disabilities. "This assistance is expected to be right on target and provide real benefits for those in need," he said. Gus Ipul and the beneficiaries looked happy when receiving the assistance, marking a positive step toward strengthening social networks in the Sukabumi community.
