Minister of Social Affairs: Eid Al-Adha Ignites the Spirit of Resistance to Pandemic

Social Minister Juliari P. Batubara attended the sacrificial animal slaughtering at the Al Hikmah Mosque yard, in the Ministry of Social Affairs office (31/07). This year, the Ministry of Social Affairs has provided sacrifices for 41 cows, far more than last year's 26 cows and one goat.

In his remarks, Social Minister Juliari stated that the atmosphere of Eid al-Adha this year is different from last year. "This year we are going through Eid al-Adha in an atmosphere full of concern and a pandemic that is still high. However, Alhamdulillah, there are more sacrificial animals. This shows that Eid al-Adha is able to inspire more people to sacrifice, empathize and sympathize with others," said the Minister of Social Affairs (31/07).
