People with Disabilities no longer need to be pushed and depend on others," said the Minister of Social Affairs.

Procurement of equipment is expected to use the most up-to-date equipment. Good equipment for the manufacture of PM Mobility Aids, for example electric wheelchairs, standing wheel chairs, and robotic orthoses/prostheses and so on. Likewise equipment for PM therapy and skills training.

"Building rehabilitation, please take advantage of advanced technology, especially for the accessibility needs of Persons with Disabilities, such as automatic doors and other electrical mechanicals," said Risma, who is also experienced in this field of architecture.

"Buildings that can no longer be used and will not be used should be removed. Please replace them with green open areas or create pedestrian paths," he continued.

Social Minister Risma on that occasion also took the time to have a dialogue with the PMs of the "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Disability Center. The Minister of Social Affairs encouraged the PM to be enthusiastic about practicing and study hard to be independent.

"Cheer up, practice, so you can walk again dear. If you fall, get up again, fall and get up again. You shoud not be afraid so you can walk, you can't be spoiled, you must be diligent so you can run again, don't give up," she said to one of the PMs who had just undergone therapy at the office.

One of the PMs, Alfia Nadia Yustiari handed over a handycraft of her work in the form of a painting of the Minister of Social Affairs from egg shells, saying "I have received rehabilitation services at the Surakarta Disability Center. Both of my legs have been operated on so they can function better. follow the handicraft skills of making paintings from egg shells. I submitted the paintings directly to Mrs. Risma," said Alfia confidently

At the end of the visit, the Minister of Social Affairs, Risma, thanked the Center employees who had accompanied and served the Persons with Disabilities. "If you don't use your heart, you can't do all of this. God who repays the kindness of all parents," said the Minister of Social Affairs.
