Minister of Social Affairs Orders Quick Response, Sofyan Immediately Carry Out Operations
PALEMBANG (April 1, 2021) – Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini ordered a quick response to cases or outreach for people with physical disabilities who need medical treatment after a work accident.
The Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) through the “Budi Perkasa” Social Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Physical Disabilities (BRSPDF) in Palembang provided ATENSI services for Sofyan Marzuki, 43, based on a family starting with a rapid assessment, as well as a comprehensive assessment by the Budi Perkasa Outreach Team (TRC).
The assessment was accompanied by the Head of the West Pasaman Social Office, the Wali Nagari Ujung Gading, and the Head of Jorong Koto Pinang. The results of the assessment were followed up by the Head of Center Iwan Nurcandra Setiawan who immediately treated the Beneficiary (PM) Sofyan to the West Pasaman Hospital, which was fully supported by the West Pasaman Regent through the Hospital Director.
The results of an X-ray examination at the RSUD, a resident of Jorong Koto Pinang Nagari Ujung Gading, Lembah Melintang Sub-district, West Pasaman Regency had to undergo surgery because his hip bone came out of the hump, so at this stage he had to be referred to the Jamil Hospital in the Province on Monday (5/4/2021) .
During the preparation for the operation and the family were facilitated at the West Sumatra Provincial Government's halfway house. The cost of accommodation while in the hospital was funded by ATENSI of "Budi Perkasa" Center , monitoring was carried out by the West Pasaman Social Office, the Provincial Social Office, and Padang BBPPKS.
The family-based ATENSI package was handed over in the form of assistance of IDR 4.5 million with details for paying for rented houses and accommodation while in the hospital and the assistance was delivered on Thursday (31/3/2021).
Officers from "Budi Perkasa” Center in Palembang departed on Tuesday (30/3/2021) and remained in the field until Friday (2/4/2021)
Based on data in the field, Sofyan Marzuki has also received assistance from the government, such as Productive Presidential Assistance (Banpres), Cash Direct Assistance (BLT), and Healthy Indonesia Card (KIS).
The Ministry of Social Affairs is not just a slogan, but it is clearly proven that the state is present and does not ignore people in need, including people with physical disabilities wherever they are.
