JAKARTA (April 12, 2023) - The Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini officially opened the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Elderly Islamic Boarding School Workshop, which took place at MUI's Buya Hamka Hall, Central Jakarta. In the workshop with the theme "Government Policy in Improving Health and Welfare of the Elderly", Minister of Social Affairs Risma explained the implementation of the Ministry of Social's flagship programs in providing the best service to the elderly through the Directorate and Technical Implementation Units of the Ministry of Social Affairs (Centers/Integrated Centers/Balai) which are spread throughout Indonesia.

Also present were the Secretary General of the Central MUI Amirsyah Tambunan, Chairman of the MUI for Young Women and Families Amany Lubis, CEO of Rumah Zakat Irvan Nugraha, and the Special Staff of the Minister of Social Affairs.
