YOGYAKARTA (May 31, 2024) - Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini delivered the products of the Beneficiary Families (KPM) of the Indonesian Economic Hero Program (PENA) to be marketed at Krisna Oleh-Oleh Nusantara in Yogyakarta.

Social Affairs Minister Risma brought various products from Beneficiary Families (KPM) from Indonesia. The products included various fabrics (sprat, ecoprint, tie dye, sasirangan), ties, hats, vests, prayer mats, pouches, shirts, bracelets, and Buru Island eucalyptus oil. Apart from that, there are also kusamba spa salts, jaran braids, and also woven plastic bags.

The Minister of Social Affairs said that if cooperation with Krisna had been established in Bali, he wanted to help beneficiaries in the 3T (Frontier, Outermost, and Disadvantaged) areas and children with disabilities.

"We want to help our brothers and sisters in the 3T area so that their products are accepted at Krisna Nusantara. We also help products from disabled children to be marketed through Krisna Nusantara," said Social Affairs Minister Risma.

Furthermore, according to the Minister of Social Affairs, MSME products can be upgraded with marketing from Krisna Oleh-Oleh Nusantara.

The various variations of products brought illustrate the various potentials possessed by budding entrepreneurs throughout Indonesia.

"Our fostered KPMs often experience difficulties in marketing. They find it difficult to compete with business owners who have a large capital," while showing off examples of eco print ties made by mothers from Biak Regency, Papua, who were immediately welcomed by Gusti Ngurah Anom or familiarly known as Ajik, the owner of Krisna, interested in ordering Papuan mothers' ties to be worn by their employees at Krisna Nusantara.

There are around 50 more people with disabilities from the Ministry of Social Affairs who work at Krisna, but there are also those who work in MSMEs because there are those who are not willing to work in the city for various reasons.

"The most important thing is that access is opened first for people with disabilities to work, from upstream to downstream, so Krisna is downstream," explained the Minister of Social Affairs.

Ajik Krisna said he was always ready to help in improving the welfare of the families who received the Ministry of Social Affairs' benefits.

"I am ready to work together and help the Ministry of Social Affairs to improve the welfare of the beneficiaries. Earlier I whispered to the Minister of Social Affairs, if Krisna Nusantara runs, we will give a special place for children with disabilities, we want to raise their status," said the owner of Krisna.

Aurel, a sasirangan cloth maker from South Kalimantan who is also a person with a hearing sensory disability, expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Social Affairs Risma and Ajik Krisna for helping to market products for people with disabilities from South Kalimantan.
