BANTEN (August 3, 2019) - Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs, Agus Gumiwang Kartasamita visited earthquake affected residents in Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province. On the occasion, the Minister of Social Affairs also said that damaged houses will receive a House Building Assistance (BBR) from the Ministry of Social Affairs. The Minister also handed over symbolic assistance to the Pandeglang Regency Government received by the Pandeglang Regent Irna Narulita in the amount of Rp. 240,935,000. This assistance is for victims of the Banten earthquake disaster, which consists of 500 tent rolls, 500 blankets, 800 ready meals, 300 side dish packages, 20 boxes of family equipment, 20 thousand packs of instant noodles.

Accompanying the Minister's visit were Director General of Social Protection and Security, Harry Hikmat, Special Staff of Social Minister, Neil Iskandar and Febri Hendri, Head of Public Relations Bureau, Sonny W Manalu and Director of Natural Disaster Victim Protection, Rachmat Koesnadi.
