Ministry of Social Affairs Collaborates with Kitabisa to Help Children with Special Needs
Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini and CEO of Kitabisa.com Alfatih Timur handed over assistance for children with special needs at the Bunda Peduli Shelter, Central Jakarta and Respek Peduli Shelter, North Jakarta, Wednesday (09/03).
Assistance from community donations through Kitabisa.com was given to one child at the Bunda Peduli Shelter and seven children at the Respek Peduli Shelter.
"First I say thank you. I got information (people who need help) from media friends and residents who upload it on social media. Thank you to good people who helped through Kitabisa," said Social Minister Risma.
In addition, the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs also provided assistance for other children in the two Shelters in the form of children's necessities such as diapers, children's nutritional needs, milk, and toys.
In an effort to realize social welfare, the government requires the participation of various parties, including the community. One of the collaborations between the Ministry of Social Affairs and Kitabisa.com is a partnership that raises community social concerns to help those in need.
