Ministry of Social Affairs Completes Inheritance Compensation of 24.3 Billion for Tsunami Victims in Central Sulawesi

The handover of compensation for the heirs of the deceased indicates that the distribution of assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs is complete for the handling of the tsunami disaster in Central Sulawesi.

In this last stage of distribution, the Ministry of Social Affairs handed over compensation worth 24.3 billion rupiah to 1,620 heirs of the deceased with a value of 15 million rupiah each.

Representing the Minister of Social Affairs, Juliari P. Batubara, Head of Sub-Directorate for Natural Disaster Victim Handling, Sunarti, symbolically handed over compensation to the Governor of Central Sulawesi, Longki Djanggola, at the Central Sulawesi Governor's Office, Friday (18/9).

This compensation, said Sunarti, complements the compensation that we previously provided to 1,906 people in 2019.
