JAKARTA (August 9, 2022) - The Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) through the Directorate of Disaster and Emergency Victims (KBK) and Sentra Mulya Jaya Jakarta received 190 Indonesian Troubled Migrant Workers (PMIB) who arrived at Soekarno-Hatta Airport on August 4. As a follow-up to the arrival of PMIBs, Sentra Mulya Jaya conducted an assessment and collaborated with PT. Pelni and Perum DAMRI for repatriation to their hometowns.

Upon arrival in Indonesia, PMIB underwent quarantine at the Wisma Atlet for 5 days and then today was taken to the Trauma Center Protection House (RPTC) of the Ministry of Social Affairs. Assessments have been carried out to 139 people consisting of 132 adults (97 male, 35 female), 7 children (4 male, 3 female) to find out the needs as an empowerment plan that will be given.

After the assessment, PMIB as many as 127 people have been repatriated to their regions including Central Java, East Java, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Lampung, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, and others using the Damri Bus. Meanwhile, 12 PMIBs are currently still at the RPTC waiting for their return schedule to Nusa Tenggara Timur, West Kalimantan, South Sulawesi and West Sulawesi using the PT. Pelni.

Mulya Jaya Center also provides nutritional assistance i.e milk, diapers, baby porridge, telon oil, baby powder, biscuits and other necessities worth IDR600,000 per child. This nutritional assistance is intended to fulfill the baby's needs while waiting for the schedule to return to their respective hometowns.
