Budijarso Lulu and Don Rozano Sigit and Director of Courier Business and
Logistics PT Pos Indonesia, Siti Choiriana which was discussed together through
webinars and live Facebook.
Siti Choiriana gave
knowledge about the courier and logistics business to MSME doers who, in the
pandemic era did not have a better impact on their business. An era that had
never been imagined 2 to 3 years ago, it turns out that in this pandemic there
are areas where people have changed their way of life, "Healthier, better
prepared, including the era of learning with digital culture, it turns out that
this is indeed one of the areas where we talk about logistics, the delivery
went up extraordinarily," explained Siti Choiriana.
In this pandemic era,
the industry is growing very rapidly and this can be used by the MSME industry.
"The growth can be said to be above 40%, some even penetrate up to 60%. We
know that the size is enormous, the growth is that much," continued Siti
Choiriana.
The Director of
Courier and Logistics Business at PT Pos Indonesia hopes that together we can
encourage MSMEs to grow than before, especially in this pandemic era.
Siti Choiriana also
said that PT. Pos Indonesia has a team from Aceh to Papua, the total service
points are more than 54,000 in Indonesia, besides PT. Pos Indonesia has a team
that does pick-up and delivery "totaling 27,000 employees, plus our
agents. In total, we have nearly 30,000 troops spread throughout Indonesia,"
continued Siti Choiriana.
The contribution of
MSME doers who have online business accounts, e-commerce, marketplaces, or
sellers that are now on Instagram, Facebook, especially SMEs, for growth in
SMEs themselves are very significant growth with industry, health, food, and others.
MSMEs operating in this era have three times their growth than before. MSMEs in
Indonesia is also asked to be sent abroad.
"So yesterday I went
to Mataram, there was a coffee industry mixed with Moringa and sent to
America, Europe, and Japan. So, if we talk about the growth of MSMEs in pandemic
conditions, it could be three times higher than normal conditions, this can
also, be a reference for the other MSME doers," said Siti Choiriana.
Siti Choiriana informed that 90% of one marketplace is MSME products. Of
course, in the online industry and marketplaces, the role of MSMEs is
extraordinary, especially in Indonesia. So that it is very attractive to
outsiders. "Outsiders are very aware that they also know Indonesia has
extraordinary potential,’ said Siti Choiriana.
PT. Pos Indonesia supports MSME doers when they are in the online
industry and are ready to make deliveries throughout Indonesia. PT. Pos
Indonesia is also cooperating with 228 foreign countries, "So if we are
sending abroad to 228 countries, PT Pos Indonesia is ready," said Siti
Choiriana.
One of the Special Advisor of the Minister of Social Affairs, as well as
the Steering Committee for Economic Heroes, Don Rozano Sigit said that the most
important thing is that we must be optimistic, "Because our country is
blessed with several attractive advantages compared to other countries, one of
our greatest advantage is two seasons, two seasons so it is relatively good.
Let's knock on that optimism," said Don Rozano.
PT. Pos Indonesia in the telecommunications sector which will make it
easier for SMEs to then deposit or take advantage of the services of PT. Pos
Indonesia for local, national, and international delivery, "We definitely
hope PT Pos Indonesia programs will be understood by UKM friends, because if
the program is understood, we can find out what the continuation will be,"
continued Don Rozano Sigit.
PT. Pos Indonesia is holding a free postage program throughout Indonesia
which will be held from 8 - 9 May 2021 for MSME players to be able to provide
better service to customers. Besides that, PT. Pos Indonesia held a program
called Post Agent, "Post Agents are like small post offices. The method is
very easy. The important thing is to have a place, you can do it like having
your own post office in your own UMKM location," explained Siti Choiriana.
MSME doers simply provide a scale, a PC, and a printer to print receipts, they
can become part of PT. Pos Indonesia.
PT. Pos Indonesia really encourages the growth of MSMEs, apart from the
above programs, PT. Pos Indonesia also makes shipping-saving packages, which
can be shared with its buyers. "We really dedicate this to the Indonesian
UMKM industry and of course we also present it to the Indonesian people so that
those who grow in Indonesia are Indonesian MSMEs," continued Siti
Choiriana.
PT. Pos Indonesia also conducts training on packaging delivery of
packages, so that it can be sent safely and makes comfortable the customers of
UMKM.
Don Rozano, the Minister's Special Advisor, provides input to hold
tutorial programs or talk show programs and also training for participants of
economic heroes wherever they are, "One of them is PT. Pos Indonesia will
provide tutorials and then tips and tricks to be able to deliver the food and
the place is also still worth eating," explained Don Rozano Sigit.
For this training, PT. Pos Indonesia also has a program for 10,000
MSMEs, "Yesterday 3 hours were possible, even those 2 hours were just
being taught, so we will prepare the training, for example opening today, today
it can also operate," explained Siti Choiriana.
In the discussion, the Beneficiaries through Social Rehabilitation
Assistance (ATENSI) can become part of the Post Agent of PT. Pos Indonesia, so
that it can be used by Beneficiaries to become additional income and growth the
businesses that have been undertaken, especially in this pandemic era.

employees, and beneficiaries of the Social Rehabilitation Centers belonging to
the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as MSME
doers throughout Indonesia.
