BOGOR (24 May 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs, through the Inten Suweno National Center for Vocational Cibinong, distributed 100 food packages for victims affected by floods in Tanah Baru, Bogor City.

 

Heavy rain hit the city of Bogor last Sunday (16/5), causing residential areas in Tanah Baru Village to be flooded.

 

The assistance of 100 basic food packages is a follow-up to the initial assessment carried out by social workers at the Inten Suweno Center.

 

Suweno Hadi Suyono, a social worker from the Vocational Center, said that this assistance was a form of the government's attention, especially the Ministry of Social Affairs. "Hopefully this assistance can ease the burden on disaster victims," ​​said Hadi.

 

Ani Rohaeni, one of the residents affected by the flood, thank you very much for the attention given by the Government. "Thank God, I was affected by the flood, which received assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs," said Ani.

 

Participating in the handover of this assistance, the Secretary of the Bogor City Social Service, Tini Sri Agustin, and the Head of Tanah Baru Village, Uay Sutiawan.
