Ministry of Social Affairs Distributes BST Phase 4 and 5 at the “Rumbai” Children's Center
PEKANBARU (August 26, 2020) - The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs through the Social Rehabilitation Center for Children in Need of Special Protection (BRSAMPK) "Rumbai" Pekanbaru in collaboration with PT Pos Indonesia for the Pekanbaru Region again distributed Cash Social Assistance (BST) Phases 4 and 5 which was located in Auditorium Building of "Rumbai" Children's Center,
The distribution of BST Stages 4 and 5 is a continuation of the provision of assistance from before in order to help the community to meet basic needs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The assistance provided is at once with the amount of each stage of Rp300.000 per Beneficiary Family (KPM). This aid distribution activity will last for 4 days, from 26 to 29 August 2020. The total recipients of assistance are more than 4,000 KPM where the KPM are residents of the Rumbai and Rumbai Pesisir sub-districts.
This activity ran in an orderly and smooth manner, the officers and KPM still adhered to the COVID-19 health protocol by always wearing masks and keeping a distance from each other. The KPMs expressed their gratitude to the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs for extending the assistance phase because it really helped them in meeting their daily needs during this pandemic.
