Ministry of Social Affairs Distributes Empowerment Assistance to Victims of TIP in East Manggarai Regency

The Ministry of Social Affairs is again carrying out a comprehensive handling of the Criminal Act of Trafficking in Persons (TPPO) which immediately pays attention to the victims in East Manggarai Regency, NTT.

Minister of Social Affairs Risma handed over assistance worth IDR 18,195,850 directly to the victims consisting of 5 adults and 2 toddlers. The assistance provided also consists of entrepreneurship assistance such as livestock, agricultural equipment, and so on.

In addition, as a series of activities to hand over this assistance, the Ministry of Social Affairs also collaborated with the digital fundraising platform Kitabisa.com to support treatment and needs during the treatment of Alexander Braden Tatus (13). The Minister of Social Affairs handed over the collected donations from Kitabisa.com worth IDR57,597,022.
