Ministry of Social Affairs Distributes Social Assistance Packages in NTT
LABUAN BAJO (27 November 2020) - The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs' DWP Advisor Grace Batubara has submitted various kinds of social assistance for residents in the East Nusa Tenggara Province. As for the types of assistance in the form of Social Harmony Assistance worth Rp300 million to 2 Chairmen of the Forum; Local wisdom assistance worth Rp50 million to 1 group of studios; Masks and Hand Sanitizers assistance to the beneficiaries. Family Hope Program Assistance (PKH) to 70 Family Beneficiaries (KPM); Social Cash Assistance (BST) of Indonesian Ministry of Social through PT. Pos Indonesia; 54 packages of social rehabilitation assistance for uninhabitable houses, as well as 100 packages of basic necessities for residents for Isolated Indigenous Communities. Social assistance in the form of 2,059 basic food packages through the Caritas Ruteng Pastoral Center for residents in Manggarai Regency and West Manggarai Regency for Handling COVID-19.
The Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation provided assistance, 20 childcare materials worth Rp10 million; assistive aids for persons with disabilities and educational tools. In addition, there were 20 school supplies assistance @ Rp500.000, a total of Rp10 million; assistance for 151 Drug Abuse Victims through 2 LKS in NTT Province worth Rp498 million to the Head of the NTT Province Social Service.
