Ministry of Social Affairs Distributes Social Assistance Worth IDR53 Billion to West Sumatera Province
WEST SUMATERA (July 6, 2024) - The Ministry of Social Affairs is synergizing with Commission VIII DPRI to ensure the distribution of social assistance is effective and right on target. One of the monitoring efforts is to carry out specific visit activities for members of DPR Commission VIII West Sumatera Province, namely Padang Pariaman Regency and Pariaman City on July 6, 2024.
The first location was carried out in Padang Pariaman Regency at the P3A Social Services Office of Pariaman Regency. The Ministry of Social Affairs distributed social assistance with a total value of IDR45,618,822,946.
This assistance includes the Family Hope Program (PKH), basic food assistance, Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) to fulfill a decent life, Entrepreneurship ATENSI, as well as tools for the elderly and disabled.
Meanwhile, in the second location, in Pariaman City, the Ministry of Social Affairs again handed over symbolic assistance amounting to IDR8,542,545,949.
It is hoped that the distribution of Ministry of Social Affairs assistance will have a positive impact on community welfare, especially in West Sumatera Province.
